Piccolo Stadium Scoreboard The history of the Brian Piccolo Stadium scoreboard dates back to the days 1975 when it first lit up. Since then there have been many replacements due to old age and natural disasters such as Florida hurricanes. The newest system has the stadiums name boldly printed along the top and enshrined on the bottom are the words, Give it your Best! These inspiration words are what Aquinas football teams have done for over 35 years, capturing six Florida state championships and two national championships.    Nike Football Commercial In 2005, an older version of the board was featured in a footballcommercial presented by Nike. The voice of legendary coach, George F. Smith can be heard in the background providing one of his anticipated, motivational speeches before a game.
