Raiders find a way

St. Thomas Aquinas 45, Everglades 30

Despite dropped passes and special team mishaps, the Raiders (3-0) found a way to win on the road against the Gators (0-3). Big plays were the key Everglades hung tough to keep the game in reach.

Senior Willie Clark carried Everglades in his first start at quarterback completing 9 for 19 for 159 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort.

James White had eight carries for 129 yards with two touchdowns and quarterback Ryan Becker completed four of 11 passes for 70 yards for St. Thomas Aquinas, which trailed 7-0 at the end of the first quarter and responded with 21 unanswered points in the second.
