St. Thomas Aquinas has won twelve straight district championships dating back to 1997. The Raiders have a current winning streak of 50 consecutive district games through the completed district 2008 season. Their last district loss was in the 1996 season to Piper High School by a score of 21-0.
The Raiders have qualified for the state playoffs for 18 consecutive seasons. Since the 1975 season when the current district format was instituted, the Raiders have an overall district record of 124 wins with 14 losses (.899 winning percentage). St. Thomas has won 25 district titles.
