Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis watched the Raiders waste no time putting points on the board, as Rudock connected with White on a 50-yard touchdown pass to take a 7-0 lead. The Raiders (5-0, 1-0) showed no signs of letting up, taking a 28-0 lead after running back Jamal Wilson scored on an 11-yard run.

The Raiders' defense allowed 37 yards of offense and two first downs in the first half. Running back Dondetrick Barnes rushed for 117 yards on 21 carries for the Titans (1-5, 0-1).
